BUSY now Michaela (Mikki for short)
Adopted May 2026
Two days after I met my foster to adopt Mom, Judy, we decided I just HAD to join her and Morgen (my red head sister) to be a family! I've been very busy falling in love with them, changing my name (I picked it!) and just being me!! Mom called me a "whirlwind" the other day. Not sure what it means but I imagine she is referring to how sweet, calm, and cuddly I can be! Yep, that must be it! I love playing with my new sister. She's a lot bigger than Oakley! Apparently we don't live too far apart because I hear we are going to have a play date when we are just a little bigger. Well, I'm off the be cute and cuddly. Oh, and I hear I'm going to do something called "agility". I think it has something to do with how much energy I have and how I can leap tall buildings in a single bound. At least from the floor to the vets exam table. Impressive for a girl my age! I'll be in touch! Thank you to everyone involved in my rescue, care and transportation!! See our previous post to see who helped - it was a lot of wonderful people!!
Love and puppy kisses, Mikki

ARCHIE
Adopted March 2026
It’s Archie here….with GREAT news and a BIG announcement!!
I’ve just been officially adopted by my new family! It’s kind of overwhelming for a Florida dog….my new family is in North Carolina where the colder weather has been really good for my itchy skin! Also, I get to go to the beach where the sea air is helping also.
It’s a dream come true for me to have a young vizsla brother to play with! Ziggy and I get to have long, zoomy daily walks to the dog park. Boy, I really love running full speed! Zig and I have already become great friends (Ziggy was also adopted from TBVCR).
My days are full and happy. I’m so grateful to everybody who has helped me, but mostly to my new family for agreeing to love me forever.
Thank you to TBVC rescue zone 4 coordinator, Vicki McArthur for finding me the perfect home!
Love, Archie

DUKE
Adopted March 2026
Duke here with the BEST news ever… I officially have a new family!
I live on a farm now, so getting my exercise is no problem at all. With all that running, I’ve already lost some of my chubbiness and I’m looking pretty handsome, if I do say so myself!
Those things called sprinklers? Absolutely fascinating. I run through them, chase the water, and play like it’s my full-time job.
I also discovered something amazing… couches are VERY comfy. And sleeping in my human sister’s bed? That might be my favorite thing ever
Best of all, there’s always someone home to keep me company. I’m loved, I’m active, and I’m living my very best life.
Love, Duke

GUS
Adopted January 2026
Gus here!
Well, it is official I adopted a wonderful family and I could not be any happier. My mommies Debra and Yvonne are the BEST. I even have a human brother Justus and sister Payton. There is so much love here and I have a big back yard to play in. This is doggie heaven. I can’t wait until warmer weather so I can play in the pool. Thank you to all the TBVC Rescue people that helped make this a dream come true for me!
Love, Gus!
