FUN DAY WEEKEND 2026
LAKE WALES FLORIDA
APRIL 11-12
Our rescue families had a wonderful time during the fun weekend. Activities included Introduction to Birds (read play with birds, they are bird dogs after all), Lure Coursing, Rally, Canine Good Citizen, Scent Work, a Beach Party, Agility, and the Parade of the Rescue.
On Saturday night, we held a touching ceremony with luminaires to celebrate the lives of the Vizslas who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
It was truly a memorable and enjoyable event for everyone involved.
A fond thank you to everyone at TBVC for organizing such a successful event!

ANNUAL PARADE OF THE RESCUE

The Annual Parade of the Rescue is a very beautiful and touchy moment. To see how much they thrive with their adoptive families is the highlight for the whole Rescue Organization. We are all volunteers and this is better than any paycheck!
They paraded, got applause, a treat bag and a rosette that says:

THE LUMINAIRES

Luminaires with a picture and name of vizslas that crossed the Rainbow bridge were lite at dusk...there was not many dry eyes. Best comment heard was:

Daisy May had a wonderful weekend at her 2nd Tampa Bay Vizsla Club fun weekend. She even earned a new suffix to her name of CGC for her AKC Canine Good Citizen
Daisy May is on TikTok, follow her adventures!
Daisy May participated in the fund raising raffle and won a gift pack from Tito's Vodka! As you can see she's a real fashionista!
We checked her adoption papers and can confirm that she is over 21 in dog's years!

Toby is absolutely crushing it in the fast cat world! Since January 1, he's proudly held the title of the fastest vizsla in the USA, and not letting anyone take that away from him! With his very own RV to race from event to event, his amazing staff ensures he's always in peak condition to maintain his champion status! What an exhilarating journey!

Zoey is working at Rally classes, she’s having fun; in fact we both are mom said! She is holding her own. She definitely has the most expressive face and makes us all laugh. We are working on “stand”, and her sitting directly in front of me this week. She is really good at turning, stopping and staying!

Zoey is so fortunate to live next to a beautiful nature preserve. She gets to walk there most afternoons, usually with dad! She loves it, lots of squirrels and critter smells.

Toby participated in the Tampa Bay Vizsla Club Hunt Test weekend in January in Lake Wales and earned 2 legs towards his Junior Hunter Advanced Title! He made mom and dad his handlers very proud!
